Heavy, strong and above all very durable. Hardwood beams and mooring poles are an excellent choice for outdoor use; a scaffolding or deck built with this wood can withstand the elements. However, this wood is also used indoors; due to its robust character, it creates a lot of atmosphere in a room. Particularly the beams from our collection, because over the years they have been given a beautiful, well-lived look. The high durability of hardwood makes it very suitable as a hydraulic material. The mooring poles (dolphins) that we sell are excellent examples of this. These heavy beams stood upright in the water so that ships could be moored onto them.
